Murals & Tromp l'oeil
Neil has been painting murals for over thirty years. His portfolio includes projects ranging from large-scale baroque ceilings in royal palaces, to charming intimate decorative rooms and on to exciting jungle scenes in a child's bedroom. His repertoire encompasses all styles from figurative paintings through to abstract images, bathroom walls to ball room ceilings. Neil's magic can give life to a client's imagination.
Services
When undertaking a commission we like to meet and talk to the client about their requirements and if possible to see the site to be painted. If it is still under construction or abroad, we can work off architectural plans.
Next, a sketch of the idea is produced, so that the client can see a visual concept of the painting. This also helps in working out the costs of the work depending on size, complexity and the requirements of the artwork.
All commissions can be done on site, wall painting or on canvas in the studio, then applied to the wall, a technique known as marouflage . Work is done in a number of mediums, but mainly in acrylic and oils.
